Opening hours in the festive season

The University Library is open as usual between Christmas and New Year's, but closes earlier on Christmas Eve and 31 December. Coffeestar will sell fresh coffee and sandwiches in the library canteen. The other university libraries are closed from 24 December until 1 January (inc).


Office 2010 for computer workplaces

As from 13 December, the computer work places in the Law Library will run a Windows 7 desktop with Office 2010. Due to the installation, fewer computer work places will be available on the mornings of 13 and 14 December until 10h00.


Maintenance Wireless Network

On the 6th of February 2013 the software of the university wireless network (LUWA/Eduroam) will be renewed. There might be some problems with gaining access to the network or you may notice some short interrupts with your connection to the network.


Only the Library Learning Centre The Hague open on 3 October

Due to the local celebration of the relief of Leiden, the libraries of Leiden University will be closed on 2 October from 18h00 and on 3 October (the entire day), with the exception of the Library Learning Centre Faculty Campus The Hague. Please read more about this and other temporary changes to our services.


Study until midnight

Starting Monday 20 August we will apply our normal opening hours again: the University Library and the Law Library will be open til late on weekdays and on Sundays throughout most of the academic year. The libraries' opening hours are different from regular hours over summer.


Maintenance Library Systems on May 29 after 6 PM

On Tuesday May 29 after 6 PM you cannot borrow materials from the Walaeus Library, Law Library, the Library of Social and Behavioural Sciences and the East Asian Library. You also have limited access to the Catalogue and Special Collections during this evening, due to a necessary system update.
